Research On The Legal Regulation Of Non-profit Private Colleges And Universities

Since the 90s,private higher education in China has been developing rapidly in last century. Private universities and colleges has become an important component of the higher education in our country. This alleviates the social demand for diversification of higher education and also make up for the deficiency of the central finance for education investment. The for-profit private colleges are more than the nonprofit private colleges in numerous private universities and colleges. At present, studies related to private colleges and universities focused on the systematic management and have the consensus understanding of scholars.However, after systematic management, non-profit colleges and universities will be how to develop, how to solve the obstacle between non-profit colleges and legal regulation, and how to guarantee their legal status and preferential policies, relatively few researches on these issues. In this work, the legal perspective for future development of non-profit private colleges and universities was investigated by studying the existing legal texts. We investigate the operational state of some non-profit colleges, pointing out the problems of legal regulation in development process, and giving suggestions for favorable development of non-profit colleges.The study begin from the establishment of non-profit colleges and universities, then analyze the operate basis and the internal financial management pattern, as well as the main interests of its internal security issues and other aspects related to the lack of the legal regulation. Because formal nonprofit private colleges and universities have the legal and other issues missing in their daily operations, so to get these colleges and universities can get effective development, we must provide more legal protection for these colleges and universities. Based on the above current situation to give some security measures, thus contributing to the non-profit private colleges and universities can be stable and benign development.
