The first congress for the Communist Party of Yunnan held in October 13,1928 which is in the village of Mengzi city Zhicun Chanipi. The meeting is the most precious wealth that the party left in the history of Mengzi. This paper has been written on the first congress for the Communist Party of Yunnan, and studies in detail for thought preparation, organization preparation, preparation of the meeting, the content of the resolution and the historical significance of the meeting.Firstly, taking the spread of marxism as the breakthrough point, this paper explores the marxist ideological trend and the spread road of the new culture movement which is from Beijing to Yunnan and then to mengzi. The August 7th meeting was held after the ruptured of the partnership between the kuomintang and The Communist Party. The central committee of CPC instructed that the focus of the work of Yunnan should move to DIANYUE railway and mining along and the area around the rural areas and minority nationality from Kunming. The party organization in Kunming got hit hard because of Longyun’s large scale movement of purging the disloyal members from KMT in January 1928. However, the revolution in Yinan was getting a great development, so Mengzi gradually became the center of Yunnan revolutionary party. In October 13,1928, in order to carry out the resolution of the August 7th meeting, Stressing the party’s organization construction, actively preparing for the autumn harvest struggle, the Yunnan party organization chose Chanipi in Zhicun of Mengzi which had a solid foundation and conditions of the revolutionary masses armed guard to held the first congress for the Communist Party of Yunnan.This paper focuses on the specific process of the first congress for the Communist Party of Yunnan, and analyzes the composition of the representative of the conference, studies the main content and the resolution of the meeting. In accordance with the spirit of the August 7th meeting, this meeting analyzed and studied the revolutionary situation in Yunnan province, discussed the next work of armed struggle, and formed "the communist party of China first congress resolution of Yunnan".
