Wealth By Class In Land Reform

This paper is based on the study of the oral history of the "land reform" in the Chinese Rural Research Institute of Huazhong Normal University.The paper tries to from the perspective of oral history, through combing the relevant literature, explore the concept of farmers’wealth class awareness in Laifeng County land reform movement of the shape, change process and its influence.The taking Laifeng County diffuse region of rivers and lakes as a survey point, through the interview and record 14 elderly oral history of land reform of research methods, shaping and influences of the reform movement in the class consciousness of peasants wealth concept was investigated.Through the analysis of the elderly oral data, the author examines the farmer’s traditional wealth view, in the farmer has not been divided class before, farmers of wealth resigned attitude. Next, the author focuses on the process of farmers’ concept of wealth to create and change in land reform under the influence of class consciousness. Through class division of the land reform, farmers’ daily life suffering is raised to the "class suffering", views on wealth of farmers also play on the class consciousness of brand; and "complaint rooter" strengthen peasant class consciousness, contributed to the peasant wealth concept of rapid change, farmers find to share landlords wealth of rationality, class wealth view replaces the original traditional wealth view. Finally, the author analyzes the negative impact of the peasant class consciousness. New class identity confirmation, farmers have produced a class identity, from hostility to the change of the landlord class as hate the rich class; on the other hand, farmers can’t loufu, still poor atmosphere became popular.The research that land reform of class division and property redistributed to reshape the farmer’s wealth view, based on the class of wealth concept has become an important part in the reconstruction of rural community. However, the only class to make the concept of the wealth of farmers to extremes. So I drew a conclusion:in Laifeng County in the process of land reform, farmers from the traditional wealth view to the class consciousness of the wealth view change, class divisions throughout, and far-reaching influence.
