Juvenile Crime has become a serious social problem such as drug addiction and drug selling, environmental pollution, which are the three public hazards in the world. We prevent juvenile crime through legal publicity and education, family education, moral education at present. That isn’t has a good effect to prevent juvenile crime. Sport is used as a new approach to prevent juvenile crime in some foreign countries, such as in America, England, Australia and Singapore. This approach has a good effect to prevent juvenile crime, and reduces the local juvenile crime rate.Firstly, this paper can come to some theories which can prove that sport can be used as an approach to prevent juvenile crime combine with China’s actual juvenile crime situation, they conclude the remaining energy theory; frustration-aggression theory; social control theory; label theory; criminal subculture theory; family factors theory; peer relationship theory; thrill-seeking theory; Then, this paper analyzed foreign cases that sport is used to prevent Juvenile crime. For example, American “Night Basketball” program; “Professional clubs come to the community” in England and Australia; “The wilderness treatment and after school” program in Australia and American; “The soccer” program in Germany and Singapore. There are some experiences we can learn from the foreign, that include: the organizers and managers of the program; policy supportive system, organization supportive system; the kinds of sports; the personal situation of Juvenile; the role of parents and coach; the supervision and evaluation of the program. Finally, we come to some conclusions and suggestion, the conclusions are: 1.We must realize the urgency and timeliness of sport is used as a new approach to prevent juvenile crime. 2. The program of prevent juvenile crime through sport must be led by the local governrnent, and need the cooperation and coordination of social organization. 3. The program of prevent juvenile crime through sport is a subsidiary and adjutant principle in the prevention system of juvenile crime. 4. The sport corresponds to family-school-society “the trinity” prevention system of juvenile crime. The suggestion is that I hope the scholars will concern the role of prevent juvenile crime through sport, and continue the research at the practical level in the future.
