Countries in the world pay attention to the importance of political trust more and more. Political trust is related to regime legitimacy, the level of governance and the ability of realization of the policy. Thus in China, political trust should not be ignored. Nowadays, more and more scholars in China pay attention to the research of political trust, mainly about which are the relation between political trust and regime legitimacy, the difference of the trust of the level of governments and the affects of political trust. The specific target of researchers in China is mainly the political trust of peasants, but merely the difference of public servant and non-public servant and why the difference appears.The topic of public servant and non-public servant is often raised in daily lives, but merely raised in researches. I try to synthesize rational choice theory, socialization theory and social capital theory and attempt to explain political trust in China comprehensively. I apply rational choice theory to explain the attitudes of the public, which are based on the feedback towards the ability of political performance. The life experience in China is a processof socialization which could mold individuals’thoughts and values. Furthermore, the values and thoughts molded by socialization have effects on the individuals’political trust. Interpersonal trust and social trust among individuals which could project to political trust in the view of social capital theory.First, I apply rational choice theory, socialization theory and social capital theory to construct regressionmodels try to discover the explanation of political trustwith political performance, political value and social trust. Meanwhile, I try to discover the difference of political trust between public servant and non-public servant. Then, I use the factor of identity of public servant and non-public servant to interact with political performance, political value and social trust separately and construct an interaction model. I try to obtain whether the rational choice theory, socialization theory and social capital theory can explain the difference between the public servant and non-public servant.
