Study On Marx’s Trade Union Theory And The Development In Contemporary China

Nowadays, establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy produce certain influence to economic structure and distribution of mass interests. In the process of deepening the reforms in an all-round way, social contradictions becomes more and more obvious, and labor relations contradictions increasingly prominent and even mass incidents have greatly increased. The formidable construction task has brought an unprecedented challenge to social work. Research on the union theory becomes a major issue.After read and analyzed large numbers of domestic and foreign references, combines history and logic and apply the theory to the practice, there is an deepen exploration and comprehensive system analysis on the basic content of Marxist theory and the signification of trade union development in contemporary China in this paper. This paper is divided into six chapters:First, the practical and theoretical significance of this paper is introduced in the introduction. And then this paper expounds the development of Marx’s trade union theory at home and board, based on the domestic and international references. At last, the research ideas and methods of this paper is founded.In Chapter II, After study on Marx’s classic, there is a basic interpretation about the union theory. The main contents include union connotation, character, function, position and effect. The character of trade unions is analyzed from two aspects, such as the masses and class. Functions include maintenance function, participation function, construction function and educational function. Position and function are discussed around the social political life, social economic life and social cultural life.In Chapter III, the formation and development of Marx’s trade union theory are simply analyzed. The formation of Marx’s theory of trade unions is introduced first, which is divided into embryonic and initial formation. The development of Marx’s trade union theory refers to the deepen application, criticism of mistakes and comprehensive demonstration of the theory.The Chapter IV is focus on development of Marx’s trade union theory in contemporary China, which is argued on two periods i.e. from 1949 to 1978, and up to now. In the Chapter V, problem of union in contemporary China is expatiated, which mainly embody self-construction of trade unions cannot meet the needs of development, legal construction is not consummate and the development of the union limited by its own system constraints.In Chapter VI, under the new situation, the development of trade unions in contemporary China is reflected in three aspects, i.e. improve their own construction, strengthen legal construction, and in novation of institutional mechanisms. In the conclusion, through study on the basic content of Marx’s theory of trade unions and its development in contemporary China, this paper analyzes the development dilemma of current trade union theory, and proposes the new development path of trade union in contemporary China. It is well known that Marx’s trade unions theory has far-reaching influence on the development of contemporary society and construction of harmonious society.
