The new generation of migrant workers is the rising power of our country’s construction and development, and will growing to be the labor’s elite, but they are social vulnerable group because of a variety of factors. The new generation of migrant workers as a transforming labor force which moving from rural to urban has the general characteristics of urban and rural residents, and its own characters as an increasingly large group.The social and family environment of the growth of the new generation of migrant workers has a great change with the older generation of migrant workers. Their level of education, the purpose of the work, the urban identity, way of life, the respect such as social security rights appeal has the new cognitive change. Because our country’s urban and rural household and so on, the new generation of migrant workers’ social society security situation and its expectations has a great fall. Their social security rights and interests of the problem is more and more wide attention by the government and society. This paper uses the methods of literature study, empirical study, and analysis from public economics, education and administrative management, sociology and other disciplines perspective thinking on the new generation of migrant workers social security problems in our country. Scholars usually make some analysis or countermeasures and suggestions in the new generation of migrant workers group characteristics and the status of the social security problems, and make comprehensive analysis and discussion of all the influence factors, but it is rare to put forward relevant countermeasures to solve the problems.
