A Study Of Expanding Our Middle-income Class At The Present Stage

With the reform and socialist economic system reform,social class structure of our country have had a new division and restructuring.According to the Western developed countries’ experience,the reasonable social class structure should be two small,the middle,like a "olive". According to the social class structure of our country at the present state,it being in the period of transition,form the "pyramid" structure to a "olive" structure,and the key to the transition is to expand the middle-income class. As a result,define the connotation of the class scientifically,master the features accurately, analysis the dilemma in depth, finding the effective path of its development, expanding the middle-income class, have a great significance of building a reasonable social class structure and moderate prosperous society.On the large number of existing research findings, with the method of literature data and comparative study, the paper find out that: first of all, have a further analysis on the characteristics and problem of China’s middle-income class in order to make clear that the development status.secondly, explore the restraining factors of expanding the middle-income class and find out these restraining factors:unreasonable income distribution system, imperfect social security system,obstructed social class flow channel and so on. And as a reference, learning the development experience of "middle class" in western developed countries, the middle class played a positive role in the development of social economic and political culture. Finally,from the way of tax,education, social security and others to explore the path of expanding our country middle-income class.In the paper, by having a reference on the existing experience of predecessors and using socialist core values to cultivate subjective consciousness of middle-income class,which expand it. Have a novation on the specific path to expand the middle-income class, enable the research of this question have more contemporary spirit and practical significance.
