| Pension service is specially providing all kinds of services for the elderly according to their actual demand. Developing endowment services is significant. Do this will not only be beneficial to meet the needs of elderly, make the healthy aging society come true, but also in favor of adjusting and upgrading the industrial structure, besides, it is also effective on alleviating the employment pressure. The thesis includes five parts.The first part is the introduction. In this part, I have expounded the cause of the problem, and analyzed the realistic significance of the thesis. I simply describe the related research results at home and abroad, and introduce the theoretical basis, the research methods, and the framework of the dissertation.In the second part, I have simply expounded the briefly overview in Zhangjiagang, mainly from three aspects:the developmental level of economic, population structure, the aging status. Then I have analyzed the present development of pension service through the endowment mode in Zhangjiagang. I have mainly chosen the typical cases of the family endowment, community endowment and institution endowment to describe. Besides comparing and analyzing the suitable crowds of each endowment mode.In the third part, I have used the SWOT Analysis Method to deeply analyze the strength, the weakness, the opportunity, the threat of developing pension service in Zhangjiagang City.In the forth part, I have studied the development status of the pension service in America and Japan. The reverse mortgage, family endowment service, endowment community in America, as well as Japanese pension services, such as elderly house, old-age care service have already developed to be mature. I have also analyzed the successful experience of developing pension service in America and Japan, which is useful to us.In the fifth part, I have put forward my own Suggestions and ideas about how to develop pension service in Zhangjiagang City in the future.The article’s innovation is using the SWOT Analysis Method to deeply analyze the strength, the weakness, the opportunity, the threat of developing pension service in Zhangjiagang City, drawing lessons from American and Japan.The thesis also coalesce the important thought of new public management theory and the public choice theory. Then I put forward the countermeasures and suggestions on how to develop endowment services.This thesis ultimately have made the conclusion. The public pension resources are limited. Furthermore, the social old-age security system is not perfect at the current. These are the realities that we have no choice but to face. In order to surmount the problem of endowment, we should launch various kinds of strength from the social and encourage private capital to participate in the investment. So I believe that making the development of pension service become socializing and market-oriented is the important way to solve the endowment problem. |
