In recent years, the rapid development of the computer technology and ecommerce in the world wide, As the identification of the computer on the Internet, the Domain Name will have a huge commercial value. The commercial value have led to a growing number of Domain name cyber-squatting activities, and making this kind of problem is very prominent, so it is very necessary to regulatory this behavior by law. Although the state has promulgated the relevant legal documents, but due to its the special Properties of the network domain name itself, in some respects, such as the legislative level, jurisdiction, administrative license of registration, is very difficult to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties adequately.This thesis focuses on legal regulation o f network domain name cyber-squatting. Through the analysis of legal identification of domain name cyber-squatting, mainly research how to regulate the domain name cyber-squatting behavior and put forward the relevant Ideas and law proposals.
