The harmonious labor relationship is the foundation to guarantee and improve the livelihood of the people, maintain social stability, and work together to build a harmonious labor relations needs the government, enterprises, workers the three party interests. Our trade union as the maintenance of the interests of the laborers and mass organizations, is the interests of labor group spokesman, on behalf of the laborer participation in building harmonious labor relations. China’s trade unions since according to its mission and the development of national economy gradually developed “maintenance”, “construction”, “participation”, “education” of the four basic functions, part of the four basic functions of trade unions and their responsibilities, the union is based on this play the intermediary, to assist countries social management functions. In the context of the economic relationship between trade unions, emphasis should be different. In the background of socialist market economy, labor relations, showing a complex trend, increase labor force imbalance factors, labor conflict brings the social instability, these problems to a great extent, and even affect the harmony and stability of the economy development, society. Therefore, establishing harmonious labor relations has become the theme and economic development are equally important, the trade union as an important subject of labor relations, to participate in building harmonious labor relationship is the important task. The trade unions participate in constructing the harmonious labor relations should earnestly fulfill their duties "maintenance", "coordination" duties, "link" responsibility, innovation of social management functions.The union to achieve its participation in constructing the harmonious labor relations responsibilities are: trade unions should recognize themselves as labor group interests and “ties”, construction actively participate in relevant state laws from the source; trade union should broaden the labor group interests demand channels, expand labor rights, to effectively “safeguard their rights”, perform at the construction of harmonious labor relations in the “maintenance” duties; trade union should strengthen their own reform and construction, and actively adapt to the market economy, the reform of the management system, establish professional, occupation, social leadership, and constantly expand the trade union coverage, strengthening the credibility in the labor group. This is not only the union to achieve its participation way to construct harmonious labor relations functions, which is in the process of constructing the harmonious labor relations in the responsibility sense.
