During the past few years, a variety of unexpected natural disasters occur frequently in our country, which not just caused serious damage to people’s lives and property, but also seriously affected on the stable and harmonious development of political, economic, cultural and natural environment in our country. Therefore, the important issues of public crisis management those need to be solved imminently,include to encourage social forces to actively participate in disaster relief enhance the capacity of the whole society to respond to disasters, and to strengthen the public crisis response capabilities and management functions of government.On the basis of the lessons learned from WenChuan earthquake and other natural disasters response after Lushan earthquake, the Chinese government activates emergency plans, takes various emergency relief measures, both Government and the social forces quickly engages in the relief work. The cooperation between government and the social forces demonstrate several characteristics; social forces promotes the integration of rescue forces, enhances their own value, and also makes themselves to be a powerful supplement to the government-led relief work. This not only shows the capability increase of social forces to participate in a major emergency disaster relief,but also could be taken as an reference to improve the social forces to participate in our public crisis response. On the basis of expounding the measures, the basic characteristics and the main results of social forces to participate in Lushan earthquake relief; the paper selected to detailed the cooperation and information sharing between social forces and the government, and finally summarizes the reference meaning of social forces to participate in Lushan earthquake relief.
