Countermeasure Study On Optimization Of Floating Population Structure In Yuyao City

Along with the gradual deepening of reform and opening up policy and constant perfecting of market economy, a large number of rural surplus labor force are liberated from the land and pour into cities. Thus, the number of floating population has soared year by year. The impact of the increase of floating population is also more obvious, involving in all aspects of people’s life. On the one hand, it makes positive contributions to urban economic and social development; on the other hand, it also brings some negative influence to the social economy in cities. Yuyao City is a relatively developed coastal city in Zhejiang province. Due to its rapid economic development and labor-intensive industrial enterprises,it has absorbed a great deal of floating population in recent years, with the number increasing from 67,000 in 2000 to 532,500 in 2013. Therefore, how to service and manage floating population more effectively under the new situation has important practical significance on promoting the coordinated and sustainable development of economic society in Yuyao. Through the study on countermeasure of floating population structural optimization, the paper explores a new mode of service management of floating population with the control of total population, optimization of the population structure, and improvement of population quality as directions to make floating population play a more active role in economic and social development.According to the actual circumstance of floating population in Yuyao, the paper elaborates floating population overview, population structure, the change trend and characteristics in Yuyao by using literature research, field research, induction and deduction and other method. Based on this, the paper carries out the scientific analysis of the influence of floating population in Yuyao on its economic and social development and the growth trend in next few years; The paper emphatically analyzes the current difficulties of floating population management. Finally, the paper puts forward reasonable suggestions for the study on countermeasure of floating population structure optimization through the induction and analysis. It is hoped that the research on floating population structure optimization can provide countermeasure and suggestions for improving and innovating floating population service management for the government, strengthening the comprehensive control of regional population, promoting the coordinated and sustainable development of population, economic society and resource environment and enhancing urban comprehensive competitiveness.
