As the part of the government’s credibility,government’s credit plays a fundamental role in the promotion of the government’s credibility. The level of government’s credit directly affects the actual effect of thegovernment’s credibility. Therefore the construction of government’s credibility has theimportant position in the construction of the social credit system.As a basic unit government, local government runs state power, performs nationalwill, deals with state affairs instead of the central government, whose construction ofability to rule is attracted by scholars and the public. The stand or fall of theconstruction of local government’s credibility, which not only reflects the public’s trustin the local government, but also is directly related to the vital interests of the public.In real life, however, some local governments, especially the grass-roots levelpeople’s governments and their staff have different degrees of bureaucracy andformalism, which go against objective of the party and government in work. Only can build benign system of localgovernment’s credibility and establish a good faith government in the construction ofthe social credit system, we will create a harmonious atmosphere for the healthydevelopment of the grass-roots government.we shall really serve the people with wholeheart and soul, make the people involved in the construction of good faith society andform the new relationship in trust between government and the public in the new era.This article attempts to research China’s current situation, factors and problems ofthe construction of the local government’s credibility at present through the methods ofliterature research, history research and crossover study. To start from the subjects ofthe government and the public in the government credibility, and to explore the ethicalrelations between the two, in order to analyze the causes of problems. The ethicalinteraction between the government and the public is considered as the research’semphasis and difficulty. Moreover, the interacted ethics building between governmentand the public is regarded as the new way for the construction of the credibility of localgovernment.
