Ethical Review Of Moral Indifference

With the change of interest structure of world economy, economic development of our country has been improved greatly, living needs of people have been met in a large scale, living condition of people has been improved largely and people’s ways of thinking has been changed outstandingly. Justice, freedom, equality,kindness,love and honesty have spread deep into people’s heart as well as providing energy for the social development.However,because of the multiplex of increasing development of social economy, there are many factors affecting the construction of civilization such as loss of morality,moral indifference,dishonesty and improper behavior in public.Nowadays, these aspects has been threatening the justice of social order as well as our socialism construction of prosperity,democracy and freedom.Moral indifference is to accelerate the development in our country at the same time, the emergence of a negative moral phenomenon, improve moral indifference, cultivate noble moral sentiment, both the theory study of moral issues more specific; And to our country socialism spiritual civilization construction has rich theoretical basis.Based on Marxism,ethnic materials and moral construction,this paper has studied the influence,causes and results of moral indifference of branches of subjects of psychology,economy and ethnic and so on.Actually moral indifference is an unhealthy mind state in which its causes has nothing to do with the quality of emotion.In our society,with a basic understand of morality,one person could show his dishonesty,skepticism and indifference to others, or even ignoring,harming others which are everywhere in our lives.Secondly,this paper analyzes and explains the causes of the moral indifference from three aspects of individuality,group and society as a whole. The appearance of moral indifference starts from the individual and then spread to the group and whole society showing indifference and betray to the morality and traditional culture.And then, this paper concludes the social issues caused by moral indifference.It analyzes the effect of moral indifference from three aspects of economy, ethnic and education.In the processing of economic pattern changing,our society has been chasing the benefit of construction while ignoring the kindness deep in people’s heart.With the popularization of education, society lack effective supervision to cultural education in school.At last, we study the way to improve the situation of moral indifference from several aspects of social conduct, morality and law,reconstruction of morality of people.During our process, our country need the people to inherit and spread our excellent culture and Confucian tradition of five-thousand years and to improve the level of recognition and to come up with related reward and punishment rules and laws to guide people.
