Discussions On Explorations Of Three Leaders Of CPC On Core Values Of The National Level

The18th CPC National Congress first proposed the concept of "core socialist values ":in order to cultivate and fulfill core socialist values, the Party promotes prosperity, democracy, civility and harmony, upholds freedom, equality, justice and the rule of law, and advocates patriotism, dedication, integrity and friendship. The promotional efforts can be divided into three levels:national, social and individual ones. They mark the new stage of ideological infrastructure construction and the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Therefore, an in-depth study on core socialist values has important values in theoretical and practical aspects.The core socialist values serve as the kernel and upper abstraction of the socialist core value system. They expose the essence of socialism, and provide the basic characteristics of the core socialist value system and the principle direction of its development. The thesis expounds the meanings of prosperity, democracy, civilization and harmony, four components that are around the national-level core socialist values. It describes the thoughts of leading political leaders such as Zedong Mao, Xiaoping Deng, and Zemin Jiang, and their achievements in setting up new rules and regulations of core socialist values on the national-level.In the part of "Definitions of the Related Concepts of Core Socialist Values", this thesis starts from the categories of ethics and philosophy, and introduces the concepts of the value, values, and core socialist values respectively, distinguishing core values from values. It is emphasized that "core values on the national level" in the title of this thesis is "core socialist values on the national level". The part of "Core Socialist Values Embodying Requirements of the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" presents the relationship between the economic base and the superstructure, reflecting the significance of core socialist values for the socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the part of "Three Levels of Core Socialist Values", the three levels of core socialist values are described, namely the national, the social and the individual ones, and relationships among three levels are resolved. Those reflect the important position of core socialist values on the national level.The main part and core of this thesis is the three part of content,"Zedong Mao’s Explorations on the National Level Core Socialist Values","Xiaoping Deng’s Explorations on the National Level Core Socialist Values" and "Zemin Jiang’s Explorations on the National Level Core Socialist Values". They explore the achievements of three Chinese Communist leaders, Zedong Mao, Xiaoping Deng, and Zemin Jiang, focusing on the national level of core socialist values:prosperity in economic construction, democracy in political construction, civilization in cultural construction and harmony in social construction. It is expected to reflect the formation and development processes of the national level of core socialist values accurately.In the final part "Several Laws in the Exploration Process of Core Socialist Values on the National Level", the processes of three Chinese Communist leaders’ explorations on the national level core socialist values are summarized. They reveal the laws of historical development. The developing processes of core socialist values on national level in different stages are completely consistent, which embodies the combination of the people and the advancement, the unity of the nationality and the temporal spirit, the interaction between practicalness and regularity.
