As is known to all, urbanization was accompanied by a large rural workforce into cities and towns. To the early21st century, Bi-sexual interaction between transfer pattern of rural labor force gradually shifts the male-oriented transfer mode with more and more rural women floating into town to find their own survival and development space. But over the years, for various reasons, migrant women can’t really integrate into cities and towns. Low social status, delicate nature and lack of adequate social protection mechanisms have made many migrant women drift in the corner of the town everywhere like duckweeds, the group of which contribute silently to the progress and development of the town with their all kinds of rights and even the person violated. Some increasingly highlighting problems such as wage arrears, without compensation, the forcing dismissal, occupational diseases, the lack of reproductive rights, sexual harassments hinder the pace of merging into towns of the migrant womenUnder heavy pressure at the survival environment, social capital that city can be reconstruction is migrant women’s an important capital to solve the problem. These social capitals offer great support to integrate into the economic, social and psychological for them. Based on this, This paper takes Hubei province migrant women as the research subject, with its city integration as the research target, The study perspective on social capital that belong to women migrant workers. This paper mainly uses the research framework of scholar Pierre Bourdieu’s "field-capital-ritual", In other words, when the women migrant workers into the field of urban society, that impact on the group’s external social forces will not direct effect on their body, but indirectly through the reconstruction of the special field that special link that reconstruction the all kinds of social, to affect the attitudes, values and behavior methods. In this paper, through the integration of survey data to illustrate the analysis, Women migrant workers are not ideal for use in possession and social capital. The initial social capital in countryside deconstruction and the new social capital in the construction of modern towns it is difficult, so the main reason that hindering women migrant workers integration city is the lack of women migrant workers social capital. Finally discusses the strategies that help the group to reconstruct of social capital and actively integrate into the urban. Provides a comprehensive reference for the social capital theory used in the governance practices that women migrant workers integrate the city.The characteristics and innovation of the thesis basically reflects in the following aspects:The first is actuality and pertinence. The key of urbanization is to promote people’s urbanization, and the key of promote people’s urbanization is to promote the urbanization of female migrant workers. On March20,2013, Vice Minister of Ministry of Land and Resources Hu Cunzhi said Beijing’s population growth of41%in ten years,37.5%growth in Shanghai,29.3%growth in Tianjin and so on, the growing population of97%are migrant workers. In order to the smooth progress of urbanization, the governments pay more and more attention to the problems of migrant workers’city integration. This study is based on the most popular topic, and is aimed at female migrant workers, which has actuality and pertinence.The second is the innovation of content. Generally, female migrant workers engaged in lower status occupation in cities and towns, income is generally low and the interpersonal relationship is very simple, even in the face of difficulties, they don’t know how to solve. In the eyes of some people, female migrant workers are the low cultural quality of rural people, they only suitable for the most bitter and tired work, no development opportunities in cities and towns. However, this study found that female migrant workers are trying to build their own social capital, also to ask for help when meeting difficulties, they hope to get a better development, want to live in cities and towns forever. So this research focuses on self investment and external investment of social capital of female migrant workers. This paper also relates to the family preferential policies and employment support policy, which other scholars less research, has many innovations on the research content.The third is the innovation of method. On the research method, this paper uses the combining method of questionnaire and interview, with a large amount of data and enriching interview cases to support the research of this paper. This article also adopts many methods, such as combine qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, the typical case and comparative analysis of many areas and so on, trying to connect theory and practice, individual and general, not only pay attention to scientific analysis, and provide operational countermeasures. In addition, the author also uses participatory observation, participates in the activities of female migrant workers to become their friends and feel the change and role of their social capital, in order to obtain the deep information. This participatory approach has the significance of innovation in the study of female migrant workers.
