Construction Of Community Policing

China is in a period of social transformation, new situations and new problemsemerging, social management more difficult, especially crime increasingly prominent.How to deal with this challenge, the Chinese police must resolve the issue. In the late20th century, western countries explore countermeasures to suppress the growth ofcrime, in the process the community policing rise, and got rapid promotion, studyadvanced experience of foreign countries timely and promoting community policingconstruction in China has a positive meaning. Based on the research results ofcommunity policing for scholars and experts, this article expounded the experience andenlightenment of foreign and domestic construction of community policing. Bystudying the status quo of community policing in Suzhou City, we find the widespreadproblem of implementing community policing in the current process, and analyzed thereasons, concluded that how to do fine the community policing strategies, namely toestablish a correct concept of community policing, community policing functionscorrectly positioned, and strengthen community policing comprehensive support toguide the healthy development of the scientific assessment.
