Relevant countries in the South China sea begin to cause contradictions intentionally, and a lot of countries irrelevant also began to intervene in the south China sea. The relevant countries and irrelevant countries are under the influence of the United States seen from the relevant information and relevant data. The support and recognition of the United States is the main reason why some countries take drastic actions. The United States is the important external factors affecting the South China Sea, and plays a vital role. The America’s attitude to the South China Sea is changed, from never intervention and having no views to positive involvement and intervention. Based on the powerful military strength, using political, economic, diplomatic means and other means, and making use of the association of south-east Asian nations and the Philippines, Vietnam and other countries competing with China, The United States disturbs the order of the South China Sea and interventions in the South China Sea issue. The United States takes the issue of disputes of the South China Sea into the Asia-Pacific strategic layout to block china; and repeatedly stressed the freedom and interests of the South China Sea, to manufacture the panic disorder of the South China Sea; and rob the resources of the South China Sea positively, to obtain the actual economic benefits. The America’s intervention make the situation of the South China Sea complicated. So to solve the problem of the South China Sea is more difficult. So this paper first analyzes the origin and stakeholders of the South China Sea, we can see that the United States is everywhere. Then I mainly research six ways of The United States to intervention the south China sea after the post-cold war, then according to this I put forward the relevant countermeasures from four major aspects.(our own ability and the strategy to build, specially related country and ASEAN as a whole, the United States). Attaching great importance to the role of the United States in the south China sea issue contribute to the more clear understanding of the situation in the south China sea, and then put forward a more comprehensive, targeted countermeasures. Only under the condition that we know the enemy and ourselves, we can solve the problem of the South China Sea as soon as possible, and then our country’s maritime rights and interests are not violated.
