Analysis Of The Party’s Class Division Policy(1949-1966)

Since the founding of the CPC, our party has recognized the position and function of social classes and stratums in the development of society. With the guidance of Marx theory and combination with specific conditions of China, we adjusted class policies in time and achieved the victory of new democratic revolution. After the founding of new China, the party transferred the focus from the country to the city. In this new situation, the party has changed its own policy. The paper in particular research will focus on the policy of the party’s class division during this period, taking rural and urban as the breakthrough points respectively, making detailed analysis in its formulation, implementation and influence. Based on above, make a conclusion of its revelation in reality.The dissertation is divided into four parts:The first part, main analysis of the background of class division policy of the party at the beginning of new China, from the theory source, summary of historical experience and realistic contradiction, is to explore the importance and necessity of the class division in this period.The second part, focus and striving for innovation of the paper, mainly from rural and urban angle, analyze content, implementation and relevant management policies of the class division policy from 1949 to 1966. In rural areas, through division of class conducted by the land revolution, the socialist transformation of agriculture, simplification of rural class and stratums is achieved finally; In urban areas, under precondition of democratic reform movement and socialist transformation of capitalist industry, the city class is cleared. Through eliminating feudal exploitation residual, thus realizing the socialist socialization of economy and transform city class into new socialist builder. Based on above and social politics and economy, the party and government formulate related management systems for the flow between the urban and rural areas and internal flow within the city units.The third part, specific analysis of class and stratum division policy and its implementation influence. From relevant policy impact on the development of the society, both positive aspects promoting the positive development of social economy, politics, society, and some negative effects exist at the same time. In the long run, it has negative influence on the social normal flow, differentiation, and personal development.The fourth part, on the basis of above analysis, sum up the party class dividing policy reality enlightenment. Based on understanding, formulation and implementation of the class problems in history, it is summed that the paper offers specific advice that in current era, facing conditions occurred constantly, how to better integrate the interests of all classes and stratums, and make them better devoted to socialist modernization construction.
