| A positive and charming national image represents the soft power of one country. A country can clarify its distinctive characteristics and promote its reputation through designing and constructing its national brand. The article argues that introducing the theories of International Politics Marketing and Communication to support and brand the “Chinese Dream†which proposed by President Xi in the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party as an iconic image of China is a scientific choice which is not only necessary but also feasible. Because the brand value of national image of China did not match the national power of China, constructing national brand can improve the image of China and promote its soft power. As a national brand, China Dream meets the basic requirements and has the elements of national brand. Therefore, branding “Chinese Dream†as a successful nation brand should 1) focuses on reform the top design and forms a nation branding committee. 2) creates good country of origin effect. 3) emphasizes the core values and cultural philosophy of “Chinese Dreamâ€.4) Improve marketing and communicating skill to promote national brand with imagination. To make China Dream as a national brand which can enhance national cohesion and also produce good international political marketing benefits. |
