The Research On The E-government Problem Of Jining

Informatization is a major trend in the progress of the world. It is also a significant force which gives impetus to the social and economical change. To speed up the pace of the government information construction and put e-government into practice is a major strategic decision made by the Central Party and the State Council according to the science and technology development of the world and the economic development of our country. Jining in Shandong province, is a resource-based city with an ancient culture. Facing the pressure of the current economic downturn, Jining must transfer the mode and adjust the structure to upgrade its industry. It is an important measure to develop information industry and carry out the construction of e-government in this "new normal" economy.This article illustrates the construction of e-government in Jining. Three typical problems--Information islands, government weibo and information security--are chosen for a detailed discussion by literature research method, practical research method and case research method. Common factors and specific reasons are found to explain these problems. Solutions are made from both national level and regional level for the problems in this paper. Hopefully this paper offers reference for other prefecture-level cities in e-government construction.Using own words, the definition of e-government, big data and cloud computing are described. The latest statistics and first-hand information are found to research the problems of Jining. A comprehensive evaluation on Jining government website, e-government system and weibo are made in this paper. It creatively suggested that Jining should take the advantage of rapid development in IT industry to study the ideas and countermeasures to build Jining to be the leader of e-government in southwest Shandong. It gave this argument with great timeliness, scientificity and operability.
