| Nowadays, our country has been entering the aged society at high speed, and the swelling increase in aging population has caused an extensive attention of society and government. Facing with a substantial increase in the pension demand of the aged population, how to provide for the aged becomes an urgent social issue. Traditionally, there are two pension models for aged people. One is family pension mode, and the other nonprofit old-age service. With the reduction of household sizes and the increase in pension demands, the above two modes can not adapt to the demand of the elderly population in our today’s aging society, thus, the community service for the aged has emerged. One community is a small regional society, and a basic unit of the whole society. Relying on the community can meet all kinds of needs from these aged people and then they can live in their familiar family and community all along. Community elderly service has its unique advantage, such as region, resource and manpower, which makes the community become a important place where the aging population problem can be solved in modern aging society, so the community elderly service is the optimal choice for our aged people. Because community service for the aged has focused the superiority of traditional family supporting and institution elderly service, which can let aged people have access to professional services in familiar surroundings.This paper takes Sanshundian community, which belongs to Huimin strict Huhhot, as an example, and then analyzes the basic situations of the aged, the way of old-aged care, relevant data of demands of the old, also including the differences between actualities and demands through ways of observation, interview and questionnaire survey etc. The paper dissects the existing problems of community elderly service in Sanshundian, and it combines foreign experience to propose the suggestions by improving service system and promoting service quality in Sanshundian community elderly service. |
