The Value Of The Social Work For Disabled From The Perspective Of Marxism Humanity Theory

After the establishment of New China, our country is actively promoting the development of social security for the disabled, based on humanitarian spirit and people‐oriented concept. Which have effectively improved and enhanced the standard of living and social status of the disabled. However, no matter in the economic life and social status, the disabled are still weak, their level of survival and development is far lower than the average level of the whole society. This is one of the main reasons of the lag of the development of social work of disabled in China. And social work is one of a few subject which attaches great importance to the value, in addition to the philosophy, and it has known as “the practice carrier of value”, the value is not only the fundation of the theory of social work, but also the motivation and soul of practice of social work. The value of social work for the disabled devided into two aspects including values and value paradigm, it shows the value orientation of social work for the disabled, which is a set of philosophical beliefs to support social workers working for the disabled. However, the contemporary social work is a product of western post‐industrial society, its value closely related to the traditional western Christianity, humanistic thought and human rights, those traditional concept or theory is defecting with China’s national conditions, so it is imperative to find some new theory. Marxism humanity theory is an important part of Marxist theoretical system, which is the general rule of the nature of the social existence and the survival and development of human beings. Its connotation and theoretical trait has inner link with the values of social work for the disabled. Therefore, the study of the value of social work for disabled in the perspective of Marxism humanity theory is not only the reality requires, but also the matching of the theory. It is helpful to improve the theoretical system of social work for the disabled, and promote the development of the security for the disabled, which also benefit to the safeguard of the rights of disabled persons, realize the free and full development for the disabled people, and build a harmonious socialist society.This paper will be divided into five parts, the first part mainly expounds the research background, significance, overseas and domestic research status, research ideas, research methods and the definition. The second part is the feasibility analysis of the study of the value of social works for disabled in the perspective of Marxism humanity theory. The third part and the fourth part is the core of this article, which have respectively analyzed the values and value paradigm of social work for disabled in the perspective of Marxism humanity theory. The third part firstly analysis the basis and problems of the existing paradigm of the philosophy for the disabled, and compared the Marxism humanity theory with the western humanism, then put forward the new paradigm of social work for the disabled. The fourth part through the analysis of the related theory and analysis combined the concept of Marxism humanity theory and the values of social work for disabled according to the internal consistency of the essence, connotation and the ultimate goal. The fifth part is the epilogue part of this paper.
