With the continuous development of national economy and society, the concept of"service-oriented government" become more and more popular. Non-profit organizations havebeen booming, and as an important class of groups in today society, it also plays anincreasingly important role in the country’s political, economic and social life. Since thereform and opening up, non-profit organization has influence deep into all aspectsof economic life, has important significance for the construction of a socialist harmonioussociety. As important human resources in the non-profit organization, Volunteers are thekey to create a non-profit organization competitive advantage, but also the keyto improve performance, realize the sustainable development of non-profit organization.However, the voluntary service in China also has many difficulties, such as the relevantlegal system is not perfect, the social security system is not perfect, the internal incentivemechanism is not reasonable, the volunteers also no long-term systematic training, also facingfinancial difficulties. In the other hand, Volunteers level is not high in the enthusiasm, thesense of mission is not strong. Main causes of the existence of this problem, such asnonprofit volunteer incentive in our country is not scientific. Therefore, research aboutnon-profit organization incentive mechanism should be strengthened, and let volunteers playan important role in promoting the non-profit organization performance.This paper describes the related consolidated nonprofit volunteer incentive theory, basedon in-depth analysis stage of China’s current situation nonprofit volunteer incentive fromgovernment intervention, to raise funds, social awareness, training and other aspects ofperformance evaluation mechanism Analysis of existing cause of the problem, and learn fromforeign non-profit volunteer organization volunteer incentives based on the experience fromthe non-profit organization outside, non-profit organizations and volunteers within their ownthree different levels of incentives put forward proposals nonprofit volunteer in order toachieve the purpose of enhancing performance of nonprofit organizations. Mainly reflected in:First, a sound policies and regulations, improve the subsidy mechanism, improve the socialsupervision mechanism, strengthen the propaganda to raise funding; Second, adopt flexibleand diversified internal incentive measures to improve the education and training system, andstandardize volunteer management system; three is to guide the volunteers themselvesestablish appropriate goals and strengthen emotional self-control, while strengthening theself-evaluation to improve overall quality.
