The grassroot administrative staffs in universities are not only the direct executors of all the internal management work of universities, but also are the windows of the outside world. In the education and management activities, they are playing the roles as managers, service providers, coordinators, executors and monitors, who are playing an important part in organization, security and coordination, with great significance of the operation and development of universities.. However, engaging in the routine work for a long-term makes people feel confused, tired, frustrated, low self-value, which produces the occupation exhaustion and affects the management level of universities. Based on the three dimension theory of occupation exhaustion as perspective and combining the empirical research, this paper synthetically applies the theories and research achievements of management, economics, psychology, statistics and the other related disciplines. The current situation, influencing factors and intervention measures of occupation exhaustion of university grassroot administrative staff are mainly analyzed.The content of this paper includes five parts:the first chapter mainly introduces the research background, research significance, research methods, and analysis framework and analyzes the current situation of the domestic and foreign occupation exhaustion. The second chapter is the theoretical research part of this paper. The scope of occupation exhaustion concept, university, and grassroot administrative staff are defined. The involved important theory in this paper, namely the three dimension theory of occupation exhaustion are discussed. This chapter establishes a theoretical foundation for the following empirical analysis.The third chapter is the empirical analysis part of this paper. Considered the grassroot administrative staff in S university as research object, the current situation of occupation exhaustion of grassroot administrative staff are analyzed together with the relationship between the occupation exhaustion degree and the variants such as age, sex, education degree, working years and marital statues. The fourth chapter analyzes the reasons of the occupation exhaustion of the university grassroot administrative staff from the individual, organization, society aspects. Based on the previous theory and empirical analysis, in the fifth chapter, the prevention and countermeasures of occupation exhaustion of university grassroot administrative staff are put forward the prevention from the three aspects of individual, organization and society.Specifically, the grassroot administrative staffs should improve their personal knowledge level and professional ability, strengthen the emotional management, and make a reasonable career plan. The universities should change their concepts, establish a standard personnel appointment mechanism, implement the rank system, establish multi-hierarchy promotion channels, explore the reasonable performance appraisal and reward system, implement a regular job rotation system, improve the training and study system and psychological adjustment mechanism. Through the social orientation of public opinion, the social level should guide the staffs to recognize and respect the hardship of the administrative staff, providing the related policy support at the same time.
