The Research On Rural Women’s Political Participation Under The Villagers’ Autonomy System

18th CPC National Congress stressed that the top priority for whole Party was to solve the problem of agriculture, country and famers. China is an agricultural country that farmers accounted for the majority of the population, the political participation for famers is the key problem affecting the development of China’s democratic political construction. As the important members in county, women is one of the main part to promote the development of rural society, so we can’t ignore the important role of women who play a role of "half the sky" in the process of political modernization while the same time in the construction of rural democracy. As wide implementation of Villagers’autonomy system, famers realize to be masters and dedicate themselves to the construction of community life, and the villagers’autonomy system provides broad development opportunities and platform for our rural farmers’ political participation. The issue and implementation of "Organic Law of Village Committees" provides legal protection and system arrangement for our rural women’s political participation, and its effect also appeared in some places. However, there still are some problems in women’s political participation since the implementation of the villager s’autonomy system, the overall condition is not optimistic. With the villagers’autonomy system, how to improve rural women’s political status, stimulate their enthusiasm for political participation, and make rural men and women together construct a new socialist countryside, which is related to the change of whole rural democratic political landscape, is meaningful to promote the development of rural grassroots democracy and build a harmonious socialist new countryside.Rural women’s political participation is not only an important symbol of the whole social and political civilization, but also the important internal driving force of the harmonious countryside. Along with the rapid development of modern society, the rural political civilization gradually increase, rural women’s political participation has become a research hotspot on rural reality. From the investigation throughout the country, at present, some problems were found in our rural women’s political participation in the villagers’ autonomy system under the background of rural grassroots democratic political construction that rural women’s political participation behavior is not strong enough, the participation level is not high and women’s political position is divided by gender. In the process of the villagers’autonomy system, the restriction of various factors make the rural women not widely involved in villagers’ autonomy, which will hinder the improvement of the rural social and political democratization and the coordinated development of rural society, and then affect our country rural grassroots democratic political construction. The analysis of existing problems in the rural women’s political participation will help improve the situation of their participation, and the turn and resolution of this problem requires a long-term, gradual process. It needs not only the rural women’s own unremitting efforts, but also needs the integration of various social strength, and further more needs the party and the government attaching great importance and actively promoting.By the form of questionnaire and interview, and combined with politics, sociology, psychology and other related theory knowledge, this paper analyses the problems of rural women’s political participation since the implementation of villagers’ autonomy system based on rural women’s political participation as the research subject, and taking the field survey of "the first Chinese village that introduced villagers’autonomy"-Hezhai village of Guangxi in Pingnan county township as the research sample. On this basis, the paper does a tentative exploration in the factors of restriction of rural women’s political participation, and put forward some feasible path to promote rural women’s political participation.This paper has the following parts:Introduction:The introduction mainly introduces the topics of this study cause, meaning topics and research purposes, by reading a large number of literatures at home and abroad about the research status of rural women’s political participation problems under the villagers’ autonomy, we put forward the research ideas and methods of this paper, and the innovation points and deficiencies as well.The first part:Summary of the rural women’s political participation. This paper defines the related concepts of rural women’s political participation, analyzes the general theory of women’s political participation, and expounds the historical accumulation of the rural women’s political participation from the perspective of the evolution of economic system and political system. On the whole, this paper summarizes the major problem of our rural women’s political participation, which lays a theoretical foundation for later research on rural women’s political participation problems since the implementation of villagers’ autonomy system.The second part:The current situation and problems of rural women’s political participation under the villagers’autonomy system-Taking "the first Chinese village that introduced villagers’ autonomy" as an example. This paper summarizes the basic situation of women’s political participation in Hezhai village since the implementation of villages’ autonomy system by field research, and generally analyses the current problems of rural women’s political participation.The third part:The factors of restriction of women’s political participation under villagers’ autonomy system. From the angle of integrating theory and practice, this paper analyses the factors of restriction for women’s political participation from the history, reality and women’s personal and family aspects.The fourth part:The path analysis of promoting rural women’s political participation under the villagers’ autonomy system. Combined the problems of rural women’s political participation under the villagers’ autonomy system and reasons of these problems, this paper proposes policy measures to promote rural women’s political participation, which effectively promote the development of rural grassroots democracy.Conclusion:The conclusion mainly summarizes the completion and some shortages and deficiencies where need to improve of this paper, and put forward some expectations for myself as well.
