At China, in comparison with the Han groups, the crisis had happened within the areaof the ethnic minority groups have its unique features in terms of enormousness,seriousness, wideness and causes. During the recent years, as various crisis have beenhappening worldwide, the Chinese society are going through the kinds of painfulness in theperiod of transformation, which caused by the exacerbation of social problems. In the nearfuture, to maintain social stability, to remain rapid economic growth, to strengthen theachievement of social growth, and to resolve the crisis effectively are become a significantresponsibility of the government. In the vast west part of China, where many ethnic groupshad lived, the occurrences of the crisis appear to be more frequent and trend to beincreasing. The relevant academic studies in General Crisis Management have startedrelatively far-behind, as well as lack of research in the unique features of crisis in theminorities regions. However, there are some well-known scholars based on the functions ofthe ethnic psychological adjustment and the aspect of the ethnic culture, have explored andanalyzed the effectiveness and the influence of the crisis management in the minoritiesregions. The painful lesson of the “7.5” event in Urumqi has told us that the current studiesin managing unique crisis in the minorities regions has been not able to apply to the growthand change under the new situation. Frequent crises had led to the slow growth of theeconomy in the minorities regions, which are also affected by the natural conditions andthe fact of less development than the east part of China. This kind of crisis has impededthe development of regional development and the stability of society; as a result of threatento the national development and ethnic harmony. The article is based on the features of theminorities regions, the specialty of the crisis and other fundamental reasons, with thereference of the “7.5”event, analyze the government’s coping strategy, and also go throughthe interviews, from the aspects of the economic development; educational level andculture communication, to purposed a basic train of thoughts for the governance strategyfor minorities regions crisis. The new governance strategy should based on the uniquefeatures of the minorities regions, with the established legal system, consider the factors ofeconomic, education and culture. Utilize the diversity of crisis management and strategy, tomake better and stable minorities regions.
