The Study Of Farmers’ Subjectivity In The New Rural Construction

This year is the eighth year of the CPC Central Committee formally proposed the goal ofbuilding a new socialist rural. During the eight years, the new rural construction has carriedout vigorously throughout the country. Some localities have made gratifying achievements,and explored a new road with local characteristics of the new rural development, such as inGanzhou, Jiangxi Province, Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The successful experience of theseplaces tells us, if you want to do a good job in new rural construction, you must rely on thehundreds of thousands of famers, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the famers, to play thecreativity of famers, so that they really participate in the design of the new rural planning,decision-making and the whole process of construction. Because farmers are not only themaster of the new rural, but also the participants and promoters of the new rural construction,the main force of the new rural construction. Therefore, the ability to break through thevarious objective and subjective constraints affect peasants’ main play, to mobilize theenthusiasm of hundreds of millions of farmers related to the success or failure of new ruralconstruction.It is based on this understanding: farmers’ subjectivity is very important to the new ruralconstruction, in this paper the author think that the study to farmers’ subjectivity not only hastheoretical significance but has great practical significance. Therefore, the paper divides intothree parts of a systematic exposition of this issue: The first part is the importance of playingfarmers subjectivity in the new rural construction. This part is mainly to define the concept offarmers’ subjectivity, and discuss the theoretical basis and practical significance of playfarmers’ subjectivity. The second part is the status of farmers’ subjectivity play. Analyze thestatus of the farmers’ lack of subjectivity. And find out what are the factors restricting thefarmers’ subjectivity. The third part is measures to play farmers’ subjectivity in the new ruralconstruction. Mainly from clarifying the relationship between the following four aspects toproceed: government-led and farmers’ subjectivity, farmers’ stay in the village and into thecity, the comprehensive construction and major support, as well as traditional culture and modern culture in the new rural. The basic idea is to stimulate the farmers’ subjectiveconsciousness as the prerequisite, to foster new farmers as the core, to improve theorganization of farmers as the pathway, eventually to restore the main body status of farmers’in the new rural construction. At the end of the article, propose a number of specific measuresfor the cultivation of new farmers and the improvement in the level of farmers’ organizations.
