Zero Reference is the empty location appears in the text, which is the intangible form of textual cohesion phenomenon. That includes: nouns reference(NP), pronouns reference(P) and zero reference(0), among which the zero reference is the highest commonly used form. Chinese and Korean are both the topic prominent language,so the rate of discourse errors of Zero Reference is higher among Korean students.So this paper aims at researching the Zero reference errors in the discourse of Korean students.The paper mainly investigate the Korean students’ Zero Reference error phenomenon in the forms of data investigation,including the design of gestalt completion questionnaire investigation,grade of corpus retrieval and Givon’ s approach of "back to the number".And it clearly explains the four types of Zero Reference errors through text retrieval and data statistics based on a lot of Korean students’ composition,and compare the distribution proportion of the four types errors in different phases.Then, the paper mainly discusses the reason of Zero Reference in Korean students’ text. First, surveying the complexity of the discourse of Zero Reference distribution through the standard Chinese discourse; the "negative transfer" of Korean influence factors includes Korean subject ellipsis high frequency, Korean pronouns refer to express,object ellipsis differences.The shortage of discourse text in Chinese book is another analyzed influential facter.Lastly, teaching strategy of Korean students’ discourse cohesion of Zero Reference includes summarizing the distribution rules of Zero Reference and use the rule to correct the students’ error. Changing and expanding the design of Zero Reference practice type is a way of consolidating the discourse rules.
