Research On Liu Kezhuang’s Poetry During His Illness

Everyone will inevitably face to the disease in his life. The disease brings misfortune to the human, but as a theme to the literary creation, it provides a valuable wealth. The unique feeling of poet during his illness is different from healthy period,so he can often create precious poems. Liu Kezhuang is a typical poet. Liu Kezhuang is one of the most famous poet in the Jiang-hu Poet Group at the end of late Southern Song Dynasty. All Liu Kezhuang’s life, he wrote nearly three hundred poems when he suffered from the disease. These poems mainly created in his later years, at that time the poet after years of baptism, and he often got sick, as the two reasons, the motion in those poems is more strong and deep. Liu Kezhuang’s poetry during his illness occupies very important position in all of Liu Kezhuang’s poetry.This article is divided into five parts to discuss Liu Kezhuang disease in the poem. In the introduction part, it mainly analyzes the source of the selected topic, the current research status of the poetry during illness in academic circle and the research situation of Liu Kezhuang’s poetry. First chapter, staring from Liu Kezhuang’s poetry during his illness, this paper analyses Liu Kezhuang’s physical condition, by the number of the creation of poetry during his illness in the different periods, to analyze the reasons of the existence of such differences. The second chapter analyzes the emotion embodied in the poetry during his illness. The feelings of poetry created during his illness are more abundant and more sincere than other periods. It mainly includes the missing and fears of relatives and friends, mourn to the relatives of the deceased, and still hold the fate of the country’s patriotic feelings during his illness.The third chapter focuses on Liu Kezhuang’s treatment of disease. Liu Kezhuang was a sickly but long-lived poet, it has an important relationship with his appropriate method of troubleshooting disease. Liu Kezhuang paid attention to the physical and mental protection, the conventional chemists, pay attention to health, away from the political group which given him the heavy blow. He also comforted himself through poetry and Buddhism and Taoism. The interpenetration of Buddhism and Taoism is a characteristic of Liu Kezhuang’s poetry during his illness. The fourth chapter will analyze the influence of Liu Kezhuang’s poetry during illness. It occupies very important position in all of his poetry.
