With the development of economy, the level of China’s industrial structure has been continuously improved, as well as the rationalization of industrial structure have token a substantial increase. In the continuous improvement of the industrial structure, industrial development issues still exist, overcapacity, dislocation of supply and demand, weak technological innovation ability and other industrial structure issues directly affect the sustainability of China’s economic development. In 2016, the central financial leadership conference proposed the supply side structural reform, and the problem of industrial structure has been the focus of the government and experts and scholars. In the traditional theory of industrial structure, technology and capital are the fundamental driving force for the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure. However, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure from the perspective of culture. This paper argues that cultural capital is capital deepening, to create value and achieve capital appreciation in the process of social production. In this paper, the cultural capital is divided into solid cultural capital, the cultural capital of the product, the body of the cultural capital and institutionalized cultural capital, analysis of the impact of cultural capital on the industrial structure of the mechanism. As for further study of cultural capital influence on the industrial structure upgrading, respectively to the third industry, the second and the third industry, the second industry and high technology industry in national output accounts for the proportion to measure industrial structure development, and research the influence of cultural capital on the industrial structure and the effect of the regional differences by the empirical analysis.Research results show that:(1) Cultural capital has a significant role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure, and the promoting effect continues to increase over the time. The proportion of the third industry in GDP, the proportion of the two or three industry in GDP and high-tech industries in the proportion of GDP have a significant positive correlation with the cultural capital, and the positive correlation between 1997-2002, 2003-2008, 2009-2014 period is growing. Cultural capital affects the industrial structure through direct and indirect ways. Relying on cultural capital, cultural tourism and cultural industry development directly affect the status of industrial structure. In addition, the influence of cultural capital on the development of the industrial structure is affected by the indirect means of technological development, factor supply, economic entity behavior, and so on.(2) Cultural capital has a significant role in promoting the transformation of industrial structure in the industrial sector. Cultural capital have a negatively relationship with the second industry in the proportion of GDP, and have a positively relationship with the high technology manufacturing industry. It can be concluded that the cultural capital can promote the transformation of the industrial sector to the high-tech industry. Cultural capital mainly through indirect effects affecting the second industry, thoughts, ideas, consciousness, ideas and creative in prompting economic subject to forge ahead, the courage to open up and promote system reform, management innovation, enhance the technology significantly.(3) In the location, the impact of cultural capital on the upgrading of industrial structure presents the trend of decreasing from east to west, and the effect of cultural capital in the eastern region to promote industrial upgrading is more obvious. The positive correlation coefficient between cultural capital and the proportion of the third industry in GDP and the proportion of high-tech industry in GDP is decreasing trend in the area of "Eastern-central-Western". The eastern region in the development and utilization of cultural capital is more developed than the central and western, and the development of cultural industry is more significant.(4) The influence of cultural capital on the change of industrial structure is not all favorable and positive, advanced and scientific ideology and institutional settings can promote technological progress and efficient allocation of resources. But we must recognize that the backward and ignorance of the ideology and system settings can also become obstacles of technological progress and efficient allocation of resources.Finally, the conclusion of this paper is summarized, and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations. |
