Jinyang ancient city ruins are ruins of big cities with long history and outstanding values. With the effects of time, water, freeze-thawing and disintegration and other external factors, the significantly faster weathering damage speed and damage development seriously affect the life of the ancient city ruins. By conducting damage mechanism analysis on the ancient city ruin walls, our study looks for targeted protection and reinforcement measures; and by conducting study on reinforcement material, the study can determine the appropriate wall body reinforcement material and reinforcement parameters. The study is of great application significance for the reinforcement protection of Jinyang ancient city ruins and is of very good reference value for similar soil ruin protection in our country.Relying on the Jinyang ancient ruins protection project and basing on the analysis of the preserving environment of the ruins, the study uses spot damage investigation, laboratory tests, field tests and other comprehensive means, uses geotechnical engineering theory and method, and combines study methods of relevant theories in soil science, material science, architecture, etc. to conduct physical and mechanical property tests of west city wall body in Jinyang ancient city ruins, structural analysis of west city wall body material under microstructure conditions, wall body material characteristic study, and west city wall reinforcement material study. By explicating the wall body damage produced mechanism under freeze-thawing cycles, rain erosion and other conditions, the study puts forward appropriate wall body reinforcement material and reinforcement method to provide detailed basis for study, protection and reinforcement of Jinyang ancient city ruins.By analyzing the damage mechanism of the west wall of the Jinyang ancient city ruins and studying reinforcement materials, the main research results are as follows:(1) From the macro and micro aspects, the study conducts measurement and analysis of the west wall material of the Jinyang ancient city ruins and determines the composition and engineering characteristics of the wall body materials;(2) Based on unsaturated soil mechanics theory and multi-field coupling method, the study determines that the main mechanism of the produced wall body damages are the combined effects of material structure characteristics, wind erosion, rain erosion and freeze-thawing;(3) Aiming at the environmental characteristics of preserving environments of Jinyang ancient city ruins and through field tests and laboratory tests, the reinforcement materials and parameters of Jinyang ancient city ruins were filtered out. |
