The children’s knowledge of role belongs to children’s social cognition, the knowledge of role is an important guarantee for children to socializing. The study found that children of 2-year-olds already have some stereotype knowledge of gender, and some preliminary knowledge of gender. In the children’s interpersonal communication, they communicate with parents, peers and teachers most frequently, so this study selected gender roles, professional roles, the role of age as a variable, and study the development of children 4-6 years old three roles of knowledge. The knowledge of role that Children obtained formed social experience, and in interaction with others, children can take advantage of these experience to presume others, psychological and behavioral. Interpretive theory of mind of children is also on the psychology and behavior of themselves and others speculate, so this study will check whether the children’s knowledge of role will affect their interpretive theory of mind.This study aims to examine the development of children 4-6 years old children and their impact on the interpretative theory of mind, the test group were sampled a total of 150 children from Chongqing city and township kindergartens. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1,The girls’ knowledge of role are richer than boys’; the knowledge of role of children continues to increase, the knowledge of role of 6-year-olds was significantly higher than the 4-year-old children; the knowledge of role of urban and rural differences have an impact on children, the knowledge of role of urban children are richer than the children in rural areas.2,Girls’ Interpretive theory of mind is better than boys’; the Interpretive Theory of Mind of 6-year-olds was significantly higher than that for children under 4 years of age; urban and rural areas have no impact on the theory of mind of children.3,There are significant negative correlation between children’s professional knowledge of role and Interpretive theory of mind. That is, the richer the professional knowledge of role of children, the lower Interpretive theory of mind of children.
