The Works Study Of Lu Xun In Psychoanalytic Perspective

Freudian psychoanalysis theory is one of the thoughts worldwide in the 20 th century, and it is also an most influential school which is applied in the psychological criticism method in the field of literature and art. The theory was introduced into China in the early twenties of last century. It affected the first batch of torchbearers of the New Culture Movement. Mr. Lu Xun is one of the torchbearers who introduced the theory and make an attempt in the creative practice. In this paper, the subconscious theory, personality structure theory, instinct and dream theory of Freudian psychoanalysis theory and close reading method are used to analyze different works of Lu Xun’ s works. This paper attempts to explore the potential meaning of psychoanalysis contained in Lu Xun’ s works, to close to the soul of Lu Xun fundamentally.The first chapter is the background research, which including Freudian psychoanalysis theory summary and the shadow of psychoanalysis theory in Lu Xun’s works. The first section introduces the four basic theories of Freudian and trying of Chinese writers in these theories application. The second section introduces Lu Xun’s mental trauma which was affected by Childhood family misfortune. It is also introduces the possibility influence of psychoanalysis theory on Lu Xun’s works.The second chapter analysis intellectuals, farmers and small public in Call to Arms and Wandering, which using four basic theories of Freudian psychoanalysis theory, combining with Lu Xun’ s life experience and sublimation of artistic creation. The "madman" is man who daring to attack or thodox ideas. They convey their ideas by crazy language fancifully. The dialogue with "I" and Lu Wei Fu can be read as Lu Xun’s conscious self-alienation between real-self and preview-self in subconscious. The love tragedy of the new youth Juan Sheng and Zi Jun is mental tragedy in transition from the old era after personality liberation. Self "spirit intoxicated" Ah Q who living in live weight away from the pain, stay strong, reach his detached in despair by spiritual victory. He looks back on his ups and downs experiences in a time of anxious and depression. In the subconscious of dreams, there has the beautiful dream of childhood which includes landscaping of the good things of past and expectations of a bright future in From the Backyard to San wei Private School. There also has the hope and despair intertwining dream in Farewell of the Shadow. The shadow choose facing darkness and death courage generously and peacefully after choice. It makes bear darkness and against despair as their mission.Mr. Lu Xun’s artistic shape and deeply shows these figures soul-numbing and decease of humanity, also self-analysis relentlessly. His purpose is to explore the national spirit, arouse the people’s consciousness, in order to achieve the national enlightenment. Although knowing that this road is full of thorns and lengthy, he is still willing to face the bleak life, going with " I will search up and down " attitude and practical actions.
