| Negative psychological states such as anxiety, competition, conflict, depression and suicide were the study focuses of human academic circles throughout the whole 20 th century. Positive Psychology was a new field founded based on scientific rules, and positive psychologists believed that it’s more valuable to focus on human’s positive psychological states such as kindness, creativity, beauty-appreciation, happiness and morality. Positive Psychological Capital, which goes beyond Human Capital and Social Capital, is one of the important main subjects in the field.College student group has its own particularities.Their mental health plays a key role in their scholastic achievement and competitive edge in the future,and college students themselves are more challenging, independent, act on their own, pay more attention to continuous learn and innovation, at the same time, new things are more accessible to them, in other words, their Positive Psychological Capital ’s levelis easier to be changed. It may be a new way to help college students stand out in their future competition by improving their Positive Psychological Capital through managing and exploiting it. So, in this study, firstly,the status of all the subjects’ Positive Psychological Capital was investigated and analyzed by a good tool which has satisfying reliabilities and validities;secondly, subjects were separated into high score group and low score group through Critical Ratio Methodaccording to the result, then, in each group, the subjects were separated randomly into experimental group and control group; finally, the plan which named Positive Psychological Capital Intervention for College Students, including individual practice and group share stages, which not only each dimension was targeted, but also the integrity of the plan to improve Positive Psychological Capital as a whole were given consideration to, was designed and carried on experimental groups. There were the results:(1)<Positive Psychological Capital Questionnairefor College Students>was an effective tool with good reliability and validity to measure Positive Psychological Capital of college students;(2)The Positive Psychological Capital of college students in the study was good in actual status, but not ideal;(3)There were significant differences on the aspects of the types of genders, majors, grades, origin of students and parents join-in or not in total score;(4)For the low-level-experiment-groupssubjects, Positive Psychological Capital Intervention for College Students could develop theirPositive Psychological Capital ’s levelmoreeffectively. |
