Since the middle of the 19 th century, the South Asian Islamic nationalism gradually formed and widely disseminated. Under the influence of it Muslim student came into being national identity and political awareness,and initiated some early activities. In the late 1930 s, a large number of well-educated young Muslim students were not only awakened but also capacity to assume national responsibility. After the reorganization of the Muslim League,the All India Muslim League was more aware of the enormous energy reserves of young students, and give the student movement active guidance and full support. In 1937, Muslim students established the "All India Muslim Students Federation"(AIMSF) under support of the All India Muslim League.In subsequent years its branches have established in most of the provinces of British India.From 1937 to 1946, the Muslim student association to organize Muslim students and awakens the Muslim political consciousness and national consciousness of the masses. They fought for the Cause of Pakistan. Ultimately they made a significant contribution to the establishment of Pakistan.The preface is mainly describes the significance of the topic and the purpose and research achievement.The first chapter discusses the background of British India Muslim Students Movement. Due to exist huge difference between Muslims and Hindus, combined with the catalytic of British colonial, which gave birth to the South Asian Islamic nationalism. Due to Islamic nationalism and the modern educational Interact with each other, British India was born the first generation of new Muslim youth who have bourgeois ideology.The second chapter describes the establishing process of the AIMSF and the first annual meeting. Then the AIMSF continued to develop, including the establishment of MSF in every province and magazines,more important is the awakening of Muslim female students.The third chapter discusses the mainly historical events which Muslim students participation in between 1938 and 1946,an emphasis on Muslim students role in India’s election in 1945-1946.At last,discusses the role of the decade Muslim student movement.
