The etiquette is an important part of human culture which is a stationary behavior pattern approved by the society. It relates to every aspects.After hundreds years to migrate, Hakka settle in south of China, then in Taiwan.Because of having the same root, Hakkas between the Taiwan Strait share some similar cultural traits which are showed fully by life etiquette.As an important part of Hakka culture, life etiquette’s performances are birth ceremony, marriage ceremony,celebrate longevity and funeral ceremony.These etiquettes are created to help Hakka spent these life junctures smoothly.They are divided by ages and show every Hakka’s rights and responsibilities in every age.Of course, traditions are not unchanged or created by one person and a while but changed as people’s experience and choice in different time.The aesthetic experience and habit in home environment are different to these shaped in afar place.At the same time, Hakka settle in Taiwan and live with other communities, although their culture keeps itself characteristics but has appeared some new forms.By generations’ absorbing and restructuring other cultures, Hakka culture has local customs which become the same culture identity of Hakka the Taiwan Strait.Compared to the life etiquettes of Hakka across the Taiwan Strait, it is proved that Hakka culture’s vitality is strong. The culture performances display Hakka’s tough community trait.Hakka etiquette is changed as time and area changed with culture’s reproduction which becomes a cultural system showing local and time traits and promote the culture identity of Hakka across the Taiwan Strait.Put them in same vision and compare their differences and similarities in different time and room empirically to show their the origin and inheritance.It has a far-reaching significance for peaceful reunification supported by Taiwan Hakka and many other groups to find out exchange point in inheritance of Hakka etiquettes.
