As a pair of philosophical category, the relationship between the Tao and Qi has changed with the evolution of history.In general, regardless of metaphysics of "Tao" is as ontology and rules, such as the meaning, it is the main view to be the "object". However, this limited the depth of understanding of Lao Tzu’s theory of the Tao and the Qi. This article attempts to discuss "Lao Tzu’s theory of Tao and Qi”, and then discusses the function of"Ming" and "Wuming" which are in the communication between the Tao and the Qi.The first chapter introduces the purpose of this paper, this paper attempts to sort out such a structure of the Lao Tzu’s text "Tao-Ming(Wuming)-Qi " that understands the thought of Lao Tzu.In the second chapter, this paper summarizes the previous understanding of the Tao and the Ming. Previous understanding in general is the subject of the face of the "object", which makes it a "thing.""; In Previous understanding of Lao Tzu’s "Ming", there are two factions’ views of Lao Tzu’s "Ming" and "Wuming", and on the basis of the text is only the "Ming" word chapters in Lao Zi.The third chapter points out that "Tao" and "Qi" are two kinds of states of the main body of practice, and the distinction between "Tao" and "Qi" is not self-completed in the world.In the fourth chapter, the research of "Ming" has extended to the whole text, and not just the word "Ming" chapters. "Ming" and "Wuming" are the main body to construct and hold the world,which Communicate with "Tao" and "Qi". Lao Zi did not praise the Tao and abandon the Qi, so he advocated the construction of the role of the executive at the same time.Thus he said: "As soon as it proceeds to action,it has a name.
