Comparative Study Of The Feminist Consciousness Between Stanley Kwan’s And Ki-duk Kim’s Films

Female consciousness germinated in the western feminist movement,gradually show the close relationship with the female subject consciousness by changing times, China and South Korea film with the Confucian culture, under the influence of Western feminism films and its theory, from female image of marriage, family and emotion performance towards deeper to the resolution of gender differences,female subject consciousness of exploration and the independence of the female consciousness film expression. This paper analogy Stanley kwan and Ki-duk Kim two directors, in specific types in the female subject construction as the breakthrough point, to study the expression of feminine consciousness in the movie the similarities and provide reference. From analysis creative motivation of director in unconscious, mirror theory and its related subject theory under the theory of the interpretation of the film,the recognition of the audience experience by Matz theory, three aspects specific analysis with Stanley kwan’s and Kim ki-duk’s film of female consciousness.The article is divided into six parts, the first part is theintroduction. The fifth part through the construction of female subject consciousness and,identifying mechanism of viewing by audience under Matz theory, the specific analysis of women’s consciousness and identity in the film.The sixth part analyses the different characteristics of Stanley kwan with Kim ki-duk film, and the problems existing in their works.
