| The modern Chinese homophones in foreign language teaching process is often neglected in the teaching content. There are many Chinese homophones word in the foreign language textbooks, the important thing is teachers should give students a clear explanation of polyphone distinction; including pronunciation, meaning, method and polyphone reasons for the change of history. In order to grasp the learner’s understanding of polyphone, teacher needs to help students learning more accurately and reduce errors in daily life use. This paper has studied how the Thai students’ studying Chinese homophones, in order to investigate how the Thai students grasp of polyphone, investigation and test learners polyphone studying status, to make forward main polyphone teaching suggestions. This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter one:introduction, including the reason of choosing this topic, research significance, modern Chinese homophones research current situation, research purpose and research methods.Chapter two:polyphone examine on Chinese textbooks and Chinese lexical syllabus, this paper will be to "Chinese course" consists of three volumes, "road to success" across and improve the articles, syllabus of Chinese teaching in the new Chinese Proficiency Test syllabus for HSK level 6 and the Chinese vocabulary and Chinese Syllabus of etc. of three kinds of materials as the basic data, the storage of Chinese homophones systematically for investigation, statistics and analysis.Chapter three:Modern Chinese homophones and analysis of survey results, through a questionnaire survey and the testing of polyphone. Analysis Thai students of polyphone master, research and analysis of the Thai students’Chinese polyphone learning situation.Testing main understanding students of polyphone pronunciation, significance analysis to grasp the situation, Thai and Chinese learning subjects of Chinese polyphone misreading and misunderstanding is still exist.Chapter four:Suggestions on modern Chinese pronunciation teaching. This chapter content about research on Chinese homophones put forward some proposals for the teaching of pronunciation. From on the teaching and learning, teachers, and teaching method in Chinese teaching mainly four aspects put forward opinions, for students to better grasp the polyphone, to solve the problems existed in the teaching of polyphone provide help.The last but not least is the conclusion of the thesis. |
