"bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence in modern Chinese consists of four parts, which are rhetorical question mood adverbs "bushi", verb-resultative "shuohao", flexible components X and interrogative mood "ma". This kind of sentence has a specific colloquial color, which is lacking of multi-angle investigation currently. Therefore, this paper tries to have a multi-angle investigation on it in the triangular theory of exterior-interior value and make the comparison of two kinds of similar sentences.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part. Firstly, it defines the research object of this article, which is "bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence. Secondly, it summarizes the current status of research on verb-resultative "V hao" and "bushi X ma" interrogative sentence. Finally, it explains the research purpose and the sources of the corpus.The second chapter analyzes the form features of the "bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence. It analyzes the composition of X firstly, then further analyzes that this kind of interrogative sentence can generate several variants by omitting and replacing.The third chapter analyzes the inside meanings of the "bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence. This part analyzes its syntactic meanings on the basis of analyzing semantic condition of the sentence and the agreed behavior X has the opposite. Then it explains that this kind of sentence has some logic semantic relations in discourse structure associated with context, such as causality and turning relation.The fourth chapter analyzes the pragmatic value of the "bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence. This part explores the feature of its context styles, interpersonal environment and its negative evaluation positions of assertives, affectives and directives.The fifth chapter is the comparative study part. It compares the "bushi shuohao X ma" interrogative sentence with "shuohao de X ne" sentence and "bushi shuole/guo X ma" sentence from the synchronic level to elaborate their similarities and differences, excavating the values of different sentence patterns.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part. It aims at making a summary and interpretation of chapter two to chapter five, and points out the existing problems and the problems to be solved in this paper.
