An Irrational Tint In The Novel Of Xiao Hong

The mainstream of the development of Chinese modern literature,is the literary trend that under the discipline of rational discourse which’s theme is initiation and saving etc.However, at this time of the west, modernist literature that take irrationalism as thought resources is going in full swing.The choice of Chinese modern literature is based on the comibination of subjective and objective factors.Behind the rationalism,which is generally concerned by the academics, is the rejection and disregard of the irrationalism.Xiao Hong,one of the authors with modern consiciousness and pioneer consciousness in the history of Chinese modern literature, has made his strong voice in the 1930s and 1940s Chinese literature. She construct a novel world that have Xiao Hong characteristic which based on her real life experiences and deeply inner experience. The characteristics of Xiao Hong’s novels have ambiguity and complexity.If jumped out the cultural contex of that time, review of Xiao Hong’s novels from the perspective of pure literature,whether it is the description of the environment of human existence or reflection on the state of human existence, or of the relentless disclosure of the absurd reality,all that coincides with western irrationalism, fromed a novel world that has irrationalism color.The color of inrratironllism of Xiao Hong’s novel world combines trend of thought of irrationalism in west with elements of China, which has a special significance in the development history of Chinese modern literature which old and new cultures turn of and Chinese and Western cultural hybirdity.This paper consists of three chapters.The first part analysis the reason that irrationalism was marginalised in China from times, the author and the reader and literary self rule that four aspects,and then explore the ideological misunderstanding of Xiao Hong’s novels which covered the irrationalism tint in her novles.The second part take "wasteland" consciousness as the starting point, analysis of the creative significance of Xiao Hong’s novels that given by Xiao Hong’s Writing in the wilderness form wilderness black land,the waste land people "living death" and the psychological space-time that thress levels, so as to show one aspect of the irrationalism in her novel world. The third part take absurdity and nihility as starting point,digs the coincide of Xiao Hong’s novel world and the irrationalism of western from the angles of alienation, absurdity and nothingness. Xiao Hong in Chinese way to convey "laugh with tears" like absurd thought, which constitute the other aspect of the irrationalism tint of Xiao Hong’s novels.
