Li And His Clothing Store

The Documentary of "Li and his clothing store" is theme of the people’s living conditions in Taiyuan clothing department, and lasted four months (December to March) finished the shooting. The shooting object is an ordinary self-employed householdin Taiyuan clothing department.The main clue is his day life in the city, interspersed with his life experience, family and the entrepreneurial process, in order to reflect an ordinary people’s living conditions in the city. The film hopes to record real record through the lens, showing the ordinary people’s struggle life, self-reliance and hard-working tough in the process of urbanization.In this paper, based on the documentary "Li and his clothing store" showsthat the movie shooting experience, the production processand the author’s reflection. Taiyuan clothing department is the largest clothing wholesale and retail place in Shanxi Province, with business area of 500,000 square meters. Here collected dozens of large wholesale stores and more than 7000 households, with over more than 40,000 staff.Most of these individual businesses men were born poor, or with the process of urbanization from countryside to the city, the laid-off workers,the migrant workers from other provinces.
