A Study On "(X) You Ni V De" And Related Structures

In modern Spoken Chinese,there is a frequently-used structure "(X) You Ni V De".It already is a Fixed and Productive Structure.In daily oral communication,it is widely used.The structure have very special grammatical features.This paper focused on three aspect of syntax,semeiotics and pragmatics theoretical background, and combined with cognitive linguistics,construction grammar, try to study the structure of "(X) You Ni V De" from grammar, semantics and pragmatics these three aspects.In addition,we are compared with the related structures.This paper is to gain proper understanding of "(X) You Ni V De".The main contents are as follows:The first chapter introduces the research objet of "(X) You Ni V De" and reviews the relevant researches.The research method and linguistic data resources are presented in this part as well.The second chapter is on the syntactic structure.Through a static description, we find "V" are mainly monosyllabic, acting and autonomous verbs.Tn addition, "(X) You Ni V De" can be used as predicate and a sentence.The third chapter is on Construction Grammar, we find in the colloquial language, Semantic and pragmatic function of "(X) You Ni V De" reflect the unpredictable characteristics, can define it as a construction in language. The constructional meaning can be summed up as "V dominate objiects are lager in amount and the action of "V" has to be long duration", and its formation was relative to cognitive prominence and contextuality.The fourth chapter is on pragmatic analysis. we find "(X) You Ni V De" has a strong subjectivity and large subjective quantity, we find "(X) You Ni V De" express a imperative function.It is implicit a reminder of speaker, the tone is very strong.The pragmatic value of "(X) You Ni V De" mainly presented as economy and high productivity.The fifth chapter is on textual research. In terms of style, "(X) You Ni V De" mainly appear in the dialogue.In discourse, "(X) You Ni V De" often appears with "explanatory components". "(X) You Ni V De" can not be omitted. The "explanatory components" position is free.The sixth chapter introduce "You Ni V De N" and "You Ni De N V". We find there is a transformation between them. "You Ni V De N" put "N" to the first sentence through topicalization,then it formed "N You Ni V De",that also is "(X) You Ni VDe".The last chapter comes to a coclusion that summarizes the main points and research significance, and points out the deficiencies of this paper.
