Justice is now one of the high-profile topics. With the development of the internet age, it makes individuals to receive information widely which forms a new way to cause their attention of justice on media circus, except participating in the scene. Based on the uncertainty management theory(UMT), this study analyzed the influence of the perceived emotion from bystanders and social identity on justice judgment no matter provided the justice information or not in the perspective of bystanders on media circus with the development of onlookers event. The researches used situational story’s experimental method to explore how the perceived emotion from bystanders affected justice judgment. What’s more, this paper pointed out that social identity had a moderating effect in the process of justice judgment relying on the bystander’s emotion. At the same time, it also explored the role of justice information, which become clear on media circus, in the moderating effect above. In other words, it is that the effect of perceived emotion from bystanders on justice judgment:dual moderation of social identity and justice information.Based on two different situation stories in content, study 1 got survey data 140 and 78 taking the college students as the subjects. After one-way factor analysis, the results showed that individuals considered the event more injustice when he perceived bystander’s anger comparing with control condition. Observer’s justice sensitivity significantly associated with justice judgment, when observer’s justice sensitivity is higher, more injustice judgment for the incident.Introducing social identity variables with the situation story method, study 2 selected college students and staffs as subjects to verify the hypothesis dealing with college students and workers in two situation’s story. Respectively 139 and 139 subjects participated in this study, the results showed that there was a significant interaction effect on justice judgment of the perceived bystander’s emotion and social identity. But only when the individual identified the observer group who conveyed emotions, the perceived observer’s emotion can significantly predict justice judgment, which approved the moderation of social identity.Within study 3,277 college students were randomly arranged into eight treatment groups, priming justice information with providing or not, in order to test the interaction effect in study 2. The results supported the moderated models, when provided justice information, social identity was able to moderate the role of perceived bystander’s emotion in justice judgment; otherwise, the moderating effect above did not exist. This conclusion can provide certain reference for the social management.
