In music learning, the recitation of music score is an inevitable problem for teachers and students, and it is often the key to decide the success or failure of a piece of music. A number of studies have showed that sleep can affect the consolidation of memory. With cognitive psychology as the theoretical basis, from the perspective of the consolidation of overnight memory, this paper provides a new memory model of piano learning. It will be mentioned in the literature review that the related concept of memory consolidation and sleep, and retrospection on the previous achievements will be made. With the piano major students from music colleges all over the nation as the sample, the research includes a total of three experiments:experiment 1, by using the sequence (passages) learning experiments to verify the relationship between memory of sleep and the cognition of memorizing piano score. Experiment 2 and experiment 3 were designed on the basis of experiment 1, aiming at exploring whether the increasing or decreasing of the level of consciousness will affect the overnight memory of the recitation of piano score. In experiment 2, the multidimensional variable was added to investigate the effect of overnight memory on the learning of multidimensional sequences (passages), and the effect of the level of consciousness on the subjects was tested. Experiment 3 tested the effect of overnight memory on the dual task sequence (passages) learning, and the secondary passage was introduced to interfere with the subjects, and the effect of reducing the level of consciousness on the consolidation of the tested memory was discussed. The study showed that:1, in passages learning experiments, it was confirmed that sleep is in the process of memory consolidation, and it was verified that the sleep and memory consolidation effect exists in the cognition of memorizing piano score; 2, the increased level of awareness affects the consolidation of overnight memory, and the increasing multidimensional sequences improve the consolidation of overnight memory; 3, after the addition of dual task, due to the decrease in the level of consciousness, the effect towards the consolidation of sleep and memory decreases.
