This paper will analyze the words "yaobu"and "yaome" on the perspective of synchronic and diachronic. There exist some universality and individuality in respect of semantic and pragmatic feature, lexicalization and grammaticalization between these two words. This paper is divided in the following three parts:The first part is the introduction on the significance, the relating researching results of the conjunctions "yaobu"and "yaome".The second part is the study of syntax, semantics and pragmatic feature about "yaobu"and "yaome" on the perspective of synchrony. In respect of syntax feature, both of them are used as copulative conjunctions. In respect of semantic feature, based on the prime meaning they develop several other meanings. Even though they have similarities when used in communications, they cannot replace each other on many occasions. In respect of pragmatic feature, this paper discuses the pragmatic presupposition and discourse markers about "yaobu"and "yaome". And attention on the difference among them should be paid when they are used in communication, which may be a great help to getting oneself across.The third part is the study of the lexicalization and grammaticalization process and motivation, the mechanism of subjectivization about "yaobu"and "yaome" on the perspective of diachrony. Both of "yaobu"and "yaome" have experienced cross-level lexicalization and grammaticalization, but there also exist differences. By meanings of comparing, we find the mechanism of subjectivization about these two words is the absorption of context.
