Soul Absence

Song Kun is a very important and meaningful case in Chinese contemporary female art. In 2005, the China art exhibition of three years recognized him as China’s most promising young female artist. Maybe for Song Kun, highlights and charm of visual art exactly remain in the transformation between inner perception and visual experience, that is, a familiar and ordinary object actually hide some kind of warning behind itself, which is also the unique thinking mode of Chinese female art, further and empty This paper, through the study of Song Kun, analyzes his works and selects the emotional alienation as keywords by stressing the traits of soul absence expressed among his routine landscape painting, ultimately revealing the existence value and social significance and even the influence and enlightenment for the Chinese contemporary art.
