The Combination Of Chinese Painting And Photography

The research object of this paper is the blending of Chinese painting and photography, as well as new art forms produced by blending the two. First of all, discussing their own artistic characteristics of Chinese painting and photography and their similarities and differences, then researching and analysing the influence of Chinese painting on photography and the influence of photography on Chinese painting.The main research content of this paper is: First, analyze in-depth the impact of Chinese painting on photography mainly from two aspects: the artistic conception and the painting theory of Chinese painting. Photography by learning Chinese painting, gave birth to many unprecedented new forms of art. This paper mainly studies and analyses several new representative forms of Chinese painting photography, including Lang Jingshan’s composite photography, Chen Dazhi’s ink photography, Yao Lu and Yang Yongliang’s digital landscape photography and Sun Jun’s new literati painting photography. Then analyzing and discussing those distinctive photography styles and their own characteristics. Second, main discussion and analysis about the influence of photography on Chinese painting has following points: photography makes the social function of Chinese painting occurred change; photography expanded the choice scope of the subject matter and material of Chinese painting; photography makes the participants of Chinese painting art occurred changes; photography makes image description of Chinese painting more precise; Photography influenced the painting style of Chinese painting creation subject and impact of photography on Chinese painting has its limitations.
